Youth Red Cross Unit(YRCU)

The Institution has constituted a Youth Red Cross Unit on 18th of November, 2020 with 22 members including the Principal as the Chairperson and Md. Sahid Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology as the Programme Officer. The Unit is established under the Indian Red Cross Society which aims at providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and to promote health & care of the vulnerable people and communities.

The activities of Lilong HaoreibiCollege’s YRCU is guided by the core areas of the Indian Red Cross's programmes which include:

1. Promoting humanitarian principles and values;
2. Disaster response;
3. Disaster preparedness; and
4. Health and Care in the Community.

Any interested Student is eligible to join the YRCU on the recommendation of the Programme Officer.
